Easy Meatloaf

An easy meal to prep in advance for the busy weeknights.

Ingredients:

2 pounds lean ground beef
1 cup milk
1 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
1/4 teaspoon dried sage leaves
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp ground mustard
1/2 tsp. black pepper (more or less to taste)
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder (or 2 cloves garlic, chopped if you prefer fresh)
1 egg
1/2 cup bread crumbs
1 small onion, diced

Instructions:

  1. Combine all ingredients well. Shape into a large loaf.
  2. Place in ungreased 9x5 inch pan.
  3. If freezing, wrap pan in saran wrap and then cover with foil. Can be frozen for up to 6 months.
  4. When ready to cook, defrost meatloaf for a few days in the refrigerator.
  5. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  6. Bake uncovered for appox one hour until meat thermometer reads 160 degrees.
  7. Top with ketchup, or BBQ sauce and bake for an additional 15 mins.
  8. Serve and enjoy!
